The fund house informed about this change through a notice cum addendum to its unitholders. The changes will be effective from June 1.

The fund house mentioned that the changes in the name of Tier-1 benchmark are due to divestment by SPDJ Singapore Pte Ltd (SPDJS) of its entire shareholding in Asia Index Private Limited (AIPL), the names of all S&P BSE Indices shall be revised, to delete the references to S&P and/or its affiliates from the name of the S&P BSE Indices. The name of the benchmark will be changed from “S&P BSE Sensex” to “BSE Sensex”.
The fund house also said that consequent to the change in the name of the benchmark as stated above, the name of the following schemes shall be revised from the effective date.
Source: LIC Mutual FundNecessary or incidental changes in the above regards shall be carried out in the scheme information document (SID), key information memorandum (KIM) of the aforementioned schemes and statement of additional information (SAI) of LIC Mutual Fund.
All other terms and conditions of the aforementioned schemes will remain unchanged. This notice cum addendum shall form an integral part of the SID and KIM of the aforementioned schemes and SAI of LIC Mutual Fund as amended from time to time.
